126M Americans Living Under "Heat Dome"

Record high temperatures are scorching a large portion of the US. And now, according to the National weather service, there are approximately 126 million Americans under a record setting heat dome. 17 states are under excessive heat warnings. Watches and advisories. Extremely dangerous conditions are expected across much of the Midwest, the south and the southwest. This weather is poised to break records that date back to at least 1950. And earlier this week, more than 100 new temperature records were set or tied and the trend is expected to continue.
