More than two dozen Republican-led states announced they will end federal unemployment benefits in hopes of getting workers back into the workforce. Lawmakers noted that the additional benefits have impacted businesses, specifically in the hospitality industry, including restaurants, while many workers have said that factors such as finding childcare and fears over COVID-19 are impacting their decision of whether to go back to work.
