Saturday marks five years since one of the worst mass shootings in history at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando. The incident claimed 49 lives and is considered the single deadliest act of violence against the LGBTQ community in U.S. history. To honor these victims, the U.S. House and Senate have both passed a bill that would make the nightclub's location a national memorial.
