A new mobile app has launched just in time for Valentine's Day.  Our.Love bills itself as an A.I.-powered, gamified, relationship wellness app for couples. The app is set in what the company calls the Coupleverse, a virtual world where each couple can build a virtual relationship home as they also build their real-world relationship. Founder and CEO Tal Zlotnitsky joined Cheddar to discuss how the app works. "The concept behind Our.Love is to give people the opportunity to understand where they stand in their relationship through very simple metrics that we provide within the app that will help them in real-time, see where they stand, see where their partner is, and be able to get closer together," he said.

Okay, so moving on to some valentine's day stuff. There's a new mobile app that launched today in celebration of valentine's Day. Now our dot Love describes itself as an ai powered game ified relationship wellness app for couples. And the app is set in what the company calls the couple verse, which is virtual world, where each couple can build a virtual relationship home as they also build their real world relationship. Here to discuss is the founder and ceo of our dot Love Tao zi Magnitsky and towel explain this app and share more details of our dot Love and what it offers two couples as well. Sure, Well, thank you for having me on, I appreciate it. Look, we are in a world where is increasingly hard to stay connected and we are bombarded every day all day by distractions and love was hard to begin with. It's getting harder in our idea. Uh and the concept behind our love is to give people the opportunity to understand where they stand in their relationship through very simple metrics that we provide within the app that will help them in real time, see where they stand, see where their partner is and be able to get closer together. But the reality of it is that people in this day and age expect to also have fun. And so we've built an app that is not just an app that gives you very useful information, but does it in a fun way uh so that you and your partner are essentially playing uh and having fun with each other at the same time as you're actively working to improve your relationship now, is this an app for those seeking to find love and start relationships? Or is this an app to help strengthen already established relationships? This app is specifically designed for people who are already in committed relationships, ideally these are couples that have been together a couple of years or more, they're not necessarily in acute distress, were actually primarily targeting people whose relationships are by and large. Okay, they're just not necessarily experiencing their best love. So the idea behind uh the company is that all of us are capable of loving more and better, but it's really difficult to do that when you don't quite understand what makes up the components of effective loving. I'll be honest. I didn't know what they were. I started this company initially in a search of my own search for understanding love. The reality of it is the science of loving is very clear. Science has been consistent for a long time. It's been very hard to access this information, not hard, as in it's not accessible at all. It's just not accessible in the manner that today's very busy adults needed in its available in book cases and it's available on MAg magazine articles and it's very hard to retain this information and access it exactly when you need it. The idea of this app is we help you uh right out of the gate, understand where you are and very quickly transition you into a game ified environment where you can actively work on the skills that you need to strengthen in order to have, you're that's love. So what kind of games do you offer couples? I'm interested. I'm curious. So, you know, one game in the app that we're really excited about is is a game that allows you to have a conversation and while you have a conversation of bouquet of flowers on the screen will adjust. Uh, it will either bloom or it will will, depending on how well you're doing talking to each other. It's using uh, it's using very advanced audio analytics and we're very excited about that. There are games in the app that are, you know, the game, the entire app is a game. You're actually in a relationship home a couple of first and in that couple of verses you can decorate the couple versus you can send each other gifts. You can share your moods in an active way. Um, there are all sorts of really fun things that you can do in the app. So there's a relationship tracker. There's a mood indicator indicator. What what else kind of features do you are implemented in this app that you've actually seen kind of the return on investment for maybe couples have reached out or left comments or reviews on the app that said because of this, This happened. Yeah. Well, you know, it's early, we're just launching the afternoon marketplace today You can find in the app store right now it's in the app store. What I can tell you is that our focus groups, there was a lot of concentration on, on two key things. So men especially were interested in having a more streamlined way to have difficult conversations. There was a challenge around being able to address difficult things. Uh, women were interested in and again, I'm generalizing. But of course, uh, the, the desire that we saw was for greater understanding, more collaboration, more under uh, more communication. The design of the app is that we help you determine which skills you need to work on and then we put you into a program that helps you figure out how to improve in each of these areas while you're having fun. So you're, you're watching fun videos, you're, you're watching, you're listening to audio, you're reading some content and you're earning love coins. So for every single thing you do in the app, you are in love coins, which you can then use in the gift shop to either decorate your home or buy gifts for your partner, which are currently virtual gifts. But very soon. It will also be, Wow. It's almost like a relationship coach slash therapy slash game that's supposed to help your relationship. My last question cause I have like 15 seconds, what is your best advice for couples? Your personal advice for couples to make it last. My best advice other than downloading the app is have respect for each other, understand that see each other appreciate each other. But most importantly, don't forget the person on the other side is a human being. They're entitled to have their views and they deserve respect whether or not you agree. All right.
