ACC Commissioner John Swofford discusses what the last two years have been like having the ACC Tournament at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The first round of the tournament starts Tuesday afternoon. Swofford says New York is the only market in the world that could host so many college basketball tournaments. In addition to the ACC, the Big East, Big 10, and A-10 all host their conference championships in New York. Swofford explains the reception to the ACC Tournament has been great, noting that the tournament set attendance records last year. Swofford also addresses the pay-to-play scandal enveloping college basketball, saying the entire model needs to be looked at. Swofford says the issues plaguing the NCAA are systemic, but he doesn't believe compensating college players is the answer.
