Award-winning actress Jane Lynch is no stranger to the entertainment world. She won over our hearts as Sue Sylvester in "Glee," which hit the air 10 years ago. Now, she stars as Sophie Lennon on "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" and hosts her own celebrity game show.
Lights, camera, action. "Hollywood Game Night" returns July 11, and this time around, the show is headed down to Malibu, California.
"It's like throwing a party at your house, but everyone leaves after an hour and a half," the actress joked. Different celebrities across the industry participate as they challenge one another in hilarious party games.
But when it came to picking favorites on this upcoming game show, Kelly Clarkson wins hands-down. "She cheats like crazy, she's competitive, she screams the whole time," Lynch said.
Alongside Clarkson, other celebrities on the Red Nose Day edition of "Hollywood Game Night" in March were Jennifer Garner, Kristen Bell, Kenan Thompson, and Sean Hayes.
To add to the award-winning actress's impactful career, Lynch recently made a guest voice appearance in a groundbreaking episode of "Arthur." The May 13 episode featured Mr. Ratburn's same-sex marriage. This was the animated series latest attempt at welcoming more diversity. "I was really thrilled to be asked to do this very, very special episode of 'Arthur,'" Lynch said.
Her projects don't end there. Lynch is teaming up with Banfield Pet Hospital to revolutionize the future of pet care. Considering we live in a digital world, we all turn to the internet to answer our questions. Well, the actress and pet advocate wants you to "Nix the Net, Text a Vet." Banfield has created new technology that lets clients chat one-on-one with a veterinarian anytime of day.
But how does she vet (no pun intended) who she wants to work with? She said Banfield's Vet Chat was a "no-brainer."
