Meanwhile, the FAA is launching a new flight plan to avoid delays in New York City and Washington DC this summer, the agency says they'll reduce flight requirements for airlines take off and landing all to avoid congestion. Airlines have until April 30 th to file requests to give up their take off and landing slots that waiver would last from May 15 through September 15. And Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass opening up City Hall to host contract negotiations. This in an effort to end the Los Angeles Unified School district strike. Those talks were the first since the district and the union had since March 3rd. The union is calling for 30% pay raises and that's your news update.
