We, this is your daily News briefing from Cheddar News. Apple is restricting the use of chat GPT and other external A I tools for some of its employees. Now, that's according to a document reviewed by the Wall Street Journal. It says that this is due to Apple working on its own A I technology. The company is also concerned that workers who use other A I services could release Apple's confidential data. Morgan Stanley, Ceo James Gorman plans to resign within the year saying he'll take on the executive chairman role for some time after stepping down, Gorman tells shareholders that the bank's board has narrowed its search for a new CEO to three very strong internal candidates and Starbucks announces that it will be switching to Nugget ice and its cold drinks in the coming years. Nugget ice is pebble size, light and crunchy but can melt more quickly than larger solid pieces. The coffee chain says that nugget ice uses less water and it aims to cut its water use in half by 2030 and that's a chet news update. I'm Shannon Lanier in New York.
