After a mass shooting left 26 dead and 20 injured in a small town in Texas, Democratic leaders are once again calling for increased gun control across the country. President Trump, however, has said that this is a mental health issue, not a gun issue. Emma Vigeland, Political Reporter at The Young Turks, and Jason Howerton, Senior Editor at the Independent Journal Review, debate whether or not we will see any policy changes after the latest mass shooting. They both agree that nothing will likely happen. Vigeland and Howerton take on a number of topics including the chances that the GOP tax plan passes, and a look at the latest in the Mueller investigation. Both Vigeland and Howerton believe the tax plan will pass. They also say that, while it is unlikely President Trump will fire Robert Mueller, it isn't out of the realm of possibility.
