American Airlines is cutting the Boeing 737 max from its schedule until January 16, the longest delay of any u.s. airline as the grounding of that jet drags on. Boeing has said it expects the FAA to clear the max to fly in the fourth quarter, but we're now in Q4 and there's no sign of regulators preparing to clear that jet.
