Tony Fadell, the inventor of the iPod who helped develop the iPhone and co-founded Nest Labs, said that he's ready to assume the role of mentor with his new book, "Build: An Unorthodox Guide to Making Things Worth Making." The engineer and author joined Cheddar News to talk about the book, the life experiences that inspired it, entrepreneurship, and his advice to others. "I woke up one day and I wondered why I'm sitting here, and we've had so much success," he said. "I thought about the mentors that I've had over my past, and I said if it wasn't for them, a lot of the things that happened for me might not have happened."
