Rohit Sethi, COO of Security Compass, joins Cheddar to discuss the one thing all cybersecurity hacks have in common: software vulnerability. He compares cybersecurity compliance to fire safety years ago. Fire codes were not created and there was no plan in place if a fire occurred. He believes cybersecurity is a board-level issue that needs to be built on the front end, so companies don't need to deal with the repercussions on the back end. The one tip he gives to major companies: shift risk back to the vendor.
