George RR Martin John Grisham Jody Pew and 14 other authors claim that the company's Chat GPT relies on quote systematic theft on a massive scale. The lawsuit alleges Chat bot created an unauthorized prequel for Martin's book, a Game of Thrones using the same characters from the existing series. The Authors Guild which is organizing this lawsuit says the alleged theft could destroy our incredible literary culture. Open eye is saying it's working with the Authors Guild to understand and to discuss its concerns.
