Ahead of the holiday weekend, Cheddar's Brad Smith spoke with Bacardi CFO and executive VP Tony Latham about the prospects for alcohol sales this summer after many restaurants and bars were forced to close their doors last year due to the pandemic. "We're looking at channels emerging and evolving through COVID, and then accelerating as we come out of COVID," he said. Lathan also highlighted a new set of Bacardi offerings, including its ready-to-drink cocktails. "What we want to be recreating and differentiating ourselves, within the ready-to-drink space, is this bar-quality, premium, prepared cocktail," he said.
