You could easily spend a fortune on high end products to protect your skin, but you don't have to break the bank to get the job done. So we're getting the scoop on the best affordable products for every age from practicing dermatologist Dr Graft. She's also an assistant professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Welcome. So here this is a great topic because this is start to finish is easy. All skin types color my color, whether you are this color or skin of color, dark suited for everyone. OK. So what, what do we have in this group here? This is for the first ones are universal steps. OK? Whether you are 2040 50 60 that's cleansing. Do not go to sleep unless your face is clean. You've got to get the debris off from the day and do not go out in the morning. You must wash your face twice. Single, most important step. These are makeup wipe is not enough. Do you suggest doing this? You can do a makeup wipe. The only thing is some, some of them are texture. So you have to be careful. These are both mice cleansers. What makes the mis when you shake them, you see how they foam. It's a delivery system. So it picks up the water stuff, the water soluble and goes and gets the fatty stuff. Ok. So it's a good cleanser and that's when your hurry and these, but I want to show a bomb cleansing bombs. People are great of using them. They are great. They can be massaged into, into wet or dry skin and then wiped off or rinsed off and they have active ingredients in them to protect. And then for anyone who wants to wipe off. Now, over here we have sunscreens. Right. Oh, yes. And they are all mineral because I prefer mineral, specially on the face doesn't burn, the eyes doesn't get absorbed. And I'm gonna show the newest one which is mineral. No show by color science. So it's not gonna have that white residue. And that's the only thing with the how fast it gets in and skin of color always had a problem. Do it in your hand. Get it gets in so quickly. Oh, yeah, men love this. And it's an SPF of 50. The design and the research has been amazing. It's very popular. And then you have S MD A skin and these are tinted and un tied is so tith is universal. Ok, great. Now this is for 20 year olds and what do they need to worry about everybody? But this is, this is start aging in my twenties. And so I always say retinol, OK, retinol um is abundance in the skin. You need to repair the skin or a molecular level. It also helps even out skin tone wrinkles. This is a must twenties throughout. And which one you want you can use if you have if you have acne or certain other problems which everyone can have. There are telehealth places. One that I use is called Cortina because you get a board certified dermatologist if you don't wanna leave your house and they send really nice products that are prescription and containing tre. Ok. So now these are for our 30 year olds and this is a moisturizer that's like for 20 years. Ok. 30 year olds. Yes, 30 year olds, you're gonna start using some active products. You're gonna start using exfoliation. Ok? Because our normal enzymes cannot function because they don't have enough moisture. Five year olds don't need to do this. But if you build up dead skin it's dull. Ok? And if you're dark, it looks a gray. So this is a great one because it has three in them has a habh A which is great for white heads and black heads and phas which is big slow sugar molecules that are anti-aging, soothing and exfoliating. Ok. Now I'm in my forties. So what do I need to do? Oh, your forties cleanse, sunscreen. Any one of them, by the way, these are emulsions. So that's how thin they are in your thirties. You wanna use retinol, you wanna use the vitamin C, OK? Before you do that for cleansing the retinol. And um I'm sorry, after cleansing you exfoliate, you get all the dead skin off at night. OK? That's not night time. And then you put the retinol on. And now what about for more mature skin? What are we looking at here? Uh More mature skin and forties? I'm gonna say, starts to get mature. That's when you start to keep up. And that is where we start to use pep up, which is a new product, color science and for the face and makes a collagen booster sagging because you hear so much about collagen. Well, collagen is a structural protein of the skin. It makes our skin less sagging, it makes our skin firm and that's exactly what we want. And really in your forties, you see it thickens the skin so you want to use it in your forties and vitamin C again, that's in thicker and this is new and this is great.
