Be Well: DIY Halloween Decorations

It is the season to like have that good scare going on Halloween season is here. So whether you're having a Halloween party or you really just want to make your house look fun and festive or even a little bit scary celebrity party planner. Mikey. So is back with some budget friendly Halloween party ideas. I love what you did here and again, you know, me and my crap are very simple and easy. So we took outdoor solar light right with a little bucket like this for, you know, trick or treating. So what you do is you just remove the handles like this, right? And then on the bottom, I just drilled a hole. So it's a one inch hole. So you're gonna take your little lantern there. Ok. Now I turn it upside down, I'm gonna turn it upside down and then you're just gonna put it right in through this little hole, right? And these are the lights that a lot of people already have people already have these so you can just, you can just use them. Yeah. And then, so once it's done, it just looks like that. How cute. And then obviously illuminates. Yes. How fun is that? I know that it is really fun. And I also like that you put those, those arms on the side of it. Yes. So once you like put them in the ground, you get these at the dollar store, they're so cheap and you can kind of just like stick these into kind of like holding the pumpkin. So at night they look so fun, so creepy. And then these little floating ghosts are super cute. So you can make these like whatever size you want from small to large. I'm gonna show you how to do this. So you're gonna use stuff that you have around the house already, right? So put your gloves on because this gets a little messy. Um So you're gonna, I could do with my kids though. Oh, totally. So what they are. So what I would suggest. So what I would suggest is definitely getting a plastic table cloth um to cover whatever um like whatever surface that you're working with because it does get a little messy and then they do need to dry um at least overnight, at least overnight. So what you wanna do is um put them in an area where you can craft and then they need to, yeah, they need to sit um and I know the kids are gonna wanna play with them. So you know it is what it is. So this so you blow up a balloon and then I put it on a little base. So this is just the vase that I had at my house. Um This is MOD P. So this is just a glue and then this is gauze, just medical gauze. So you can put that right into the mod. Yeah. So what I do is I just put a, like a dip it in and then I'll just let it soak through because it has to be pretty saturated and then I'll give it a good squeeze because the excess will come out and then all you do is make sure that it's like open like, so, you know, so yeah, and then all you do is you just keep layering it over and over and over. Um And then what I like to do is at the base because they doesn't need to be like all the way up and all the way down. OK? Um So what I like to do is at the base, I like to give it a little more um play at the bottom because when it dries, that's what's gonna hold it standing straight up. OK? And then the important technique, everybody watching, that's the important thing you have to do that and then once it fully dries let it dry like overnight. Um And they also look so this is a larger gauze. So we do some time in, right? So like I'll do like some of the larger ones and then finish with the smaller ones on there. How do you get this floating? Look. So how you get the floating? Look, you pop the balloon once it's dry and then it will just stay right within this frame. How cute is that? That's so cute. And then, yeah, and then the little glow sticks so you can put these under it. So at night they kind of just illuminate, which is super cute. And then for the eyes and the mouth, I just cut out the shape with construction paper. I mean, adorable. I love it. We're ready for Halloween. Not too messy, but it's a little bit cute.
