Every year, Oprah Danley picks out the best new beauty products on the market from skincare to makeup to hair and beauty director Kate Sandoval Box is here with us to share the highlights of this year's 2023 beauty Oh Awards all available for less than $50. Now, you're talking my language. So first I want to know how do you figure it out? Like what is the testing process for them to make it to this table right now? Yes. Ok. So it was so important to us to offer products in a wide range of prices that were for a wide range of skin tones, hair textures, beauty needs and ages. So that meant that we have makeup purposely with an a very inclusive shade range. We have products for every hair texture and we even have products that are specifically for menopause related. 00, I gotta hear about that one. Ok. I know Oprah's makeup artist plays a huge role in this. Does she as well? Yes. Oh, absolutely. So everybody staff test products. We send products to our Oprah Daily audience to try and we even have Oprah's makeup artists review all the products for us as well. So these are the best products of the year and up. Ok. Up first. What do we, what do we have here is the iconic London roll away Glow. This is a highlighter. It is so easy to use because it has a built in roller ball applicator at the top. So it's so seamless to just go for it to just roll the strike up each cheekbone and then you just blend with your fingertips. I mean, you have no mirror. It's so easy. It's foolproof. Now you don't wanna roll it. I hope so. Don't roll it all over your face. Right. I like that little bit. Goes a long way. I use my fingertips maybe to dab a little on the inner corner of the eyes down the bridge of the nose and this is so portable. It's great because it's all absolutely fit in a pocket. Yeah, I don't need a big bronzer. Now, what's here? Ok. So this is the main match concealer our staff at is really diverse. So they are good at making sure that a concealer line has all the shades. This has 21 shades, which is a lot for concealer brand matched. All of us. It's really creamy. I'm actually using it. I'm wearing it now as my foundation because it's so easy to blend doesn't sink into fine lines now, just to be clear. What is concealer for the? Ok. So concealer hides what you don't want people to see. So dark circles. Pimp blemish, blemish dark spot you don't like. So it's great. So easy. Now, this is not a lip gloss. Yes, this is a lip treatment oil. So it's the sheen of a gloss. Ok? But not the stickiness. And the oil is really hydrating and nourishing. This is a black owned small business and specifically made to enhance melan skin. Ok. Really, really beautiful. great and it also has some colors in it as well. So it gives you a little bump of color. Exactly. Exactly. You can layer it over a lipstick for even more staying power. Ok. Really nice. If I had a mirror, I would try out of the line like you only have the beautiful OK. So this is Naomi Watts's menopause brand called Stripes and this is the crown pleaser hair mask. So when you're going through perry menopause, basically everything loses moisture, including your hair. The a coworker of mine, this was happening to I handed her this formula. She put it on the next day. She came in. Her coarse perched hair was transformed. Really amazing. I want the menopause but can I try this on my hair as well? A little, a little hydration, right? Leave that in, rinse it out later, right up next. Oh bye, bye. OK. Yes, it Cosmetics. Bye bye under eye bags. So this went viral on tiktok for a good reason. This actually works. You put it on like an eye cream. Very thin layer. It start, it takes a, like 10 minutes to dry and it dries into a clear film that holds your skin to, it's real and smooth. So your under eye bags are gone for the day. No, no filler needed. Now, you can put that on if you're noticing bags or, yeah, if you look a little puffy. Exactly. It gets rid of the puffiness. You already have. Obviously when you wash it off at the end of the day, it's got the go down the drain with it, but you put it on the next day. Now, these are a big hit with me. Ok. Yes. A pimple patch. I love a pimple patch. It stops me from picking at things, treats your pimple, but these are special. These have tiny, you can't even see them, but you can feel them tiny little micro darts in the pimple. They almost feel like a little bit like gentle velcro when you put them on, but they drive the acne ingredients into the pimple. So it heals faster. Tiny, tiny bit. Leave it on for the day. You're good. Especially for those underground pimples that you gotta get in there, right? Ok. So that is gonna help our 11. Yes. Ok. I love, you know, the little frown wrinkles between your brows. Ok. So these are medical grade silicone patches. You put one on right in between, on your, on your brow and ideally you have clean skin, they'll stick better, but you go for it. Now, what they do is they stop you from making that frown face so they stop you from etching those lines in. I wear them when I'm work, working from home because you don't realize when you're looking at the screen that you're frowning at your emails or squinting, this prevents you from doing that. But a lot of people like to wear them when they're sleeping too and they're reusable. You can wear them as much as you want over and over and it feels cooling to the skin. Very soft.
