Be Well: Shopping to Support Breast Cancer Awareness 

October is Breast cancer Awareness Month. And while you can donate to the many charities, of course, that support breast cancer research, you can also help by shopping for some great beauty products. So here was some beauty brands that are donating a portion of the proceeds to breast cancer awareness research is birdie editor in chief Halle Gould. Thank you so much for joining us. Thank you guys so much for having me. I'm so excited to be here. All right, a lot of things I know. Why did you pick this one first? So this is an a beta hand cream first and foremost. It is so creamy. It smells so good, invigorating rosemary and mint. 00, that's a should have been a little bit, goes a long way clear. But also what's amazing about it other than keeping your skin hydrated throughout the cold weather in the winter is that they will donate $10 from the purchase price to the breast cancer Research Foundation. And similarly, we also have this dark Doctor Jar product. It is supercharged with five different ceramides, which is so so great. So is this for your face or this is for your whole body? It's for your face? I mean, you could use it on your body, but it's a little pricey if you were gonna put it all over my neck is great. And what is it so good? What does it do? It is. Now, for this one is this Jane, I, so I'm super excited to show you this one. It's really, really cool, it looks clear. So it just, yeah, it's so great. It just looks uh like a lip balm, like a clear lip balm. But then when you apply it, it reacts to your body's ph and it gives you a custom color. This one's a really beautiful pink and it's this gorgeous buildable sheer lip tint. I love it so, so much and it's really like a mood ring I want. Exactly. And they're donating a portion of the proceeds to look good. Feel better, which of course is really exciting and thoughtful. Um Similarly, we have a lip and cheek stain over here. You said le lip and cheek so you can put it all over, you can put it on your cheek, you can put it on your lip. It's this beautiful shade of red. The shade is called Kara after the brand CEO and founder of uh Fighting Pretty. And so they're working with Fighting Pretty to donate the proceeds of a portion of the proceeds to that really, really great organization and we can't forget the blush. This one is super exciting too. It's this gorgeous trio of brushes you blushes. Yes, the brush and the brush comes along with it. Yeah, a little bit higher. But these blushes are great because you can use them all together. You can kind of just like swoosh the brush together and get this custom color or you can use each one.
