Be Well: Staying Trendy While Back-To-School Shopping

It's almost time to retire our bathing suits and board shorts for the summer. But that means we get a whole new fresh set of clothing. That's right. All those good looks for Fall. So when it comes to back to school shopping, we want to check out the latest trend. So our friends at H and M gave us some cool looks for Fall that their style experts say this year, it's all about fashion forward pieces that can be mixed and matched. So we're gonna start with the elementary students and Carter who is in the second grade. I love it because you could just tell he's got this great energy here. But right now we're taking a look at his pants. Obviously, they're like these brown pants and we paired them uh with this button down shirt that has stripes. But I think you could tell by the smile on his face that he is loving on this jacket and the jacket is so great. It's a bomber style jacket. Um and it's, it's really just so cool. How did he like this outfit? Let me tell you he thought he was too cool for school. I love this. My guy was just posing and modeling. He was really filling his jacket because it had the little football helmet on it and he was like, I can wear it when it gets cold because it's a little warm right now. He's all for it. Yeah, I love that. That's a great piece. Ok. We're gonna take a look at mckenzie and mckenzie is in the fifth grade. She's got the wide leg joggers on. So those are really on trend, not only because of the monochromatic look. So the top and the bottom really match each other. The Dusty Rose is kind of having a moment. But the good thing is you can mix and match those. So the top could go with like a black pair of, you know, a high waisted legging or the bottom could go with one of those big oversized sweatshirts. So there's a lot of different looks that you can get from just this one thing and you see that little slit on the side of the wide leg. Exactly. And I was like, you know, this is cool. She liked it, but I was like, don't show the stomach. Same with Madison here. I was like no stomach. Yeah, and I love this on Madison and because um well, one because she looks lovely, but also there's like these great little details like the smiley face on, on the skirt. But then that also goes with the smile all day on her sweatshirt, but it's not overly colorful because she's a little bit older. She's middle school. So this can be dressed up or dressed down, depending if you want a pair of the skirt and there's Timothy. And you know, I have to tell you he loved these jeans, this loose fit. He didn't have a pair of loose fit and he really, really liked them. So you could see it's like wider on the bottom, not like that skinny jean anymore. And it's just like a nice clean look. They did fit the waist. They had that inside. That makes it a little bit tighter because he's got a slim waist. So it is adjustable, which is great. And then this zip up is a fleece and that he also really loved. You could tell he's got a great smile on because it's great for the seasons change. You can stack it and take it off. Yes. Now this one, it's interesting because Laney is wearing this really oversized, um, jacket and the good thing is, yes, she looks adorable, but also you could put a sweatshirt under it, get the hood outside of the jacket and have a completely different look if you're going out with your friends or having, you know, something like that. This one is a gray cargo pant, lots of pockets, really loose, very comfortable. And all the kids love this oversized jacket thing and you can really wear something fitted underneath. Yeah. This is Mike and Mike is showing us the beige is anything but basic and you're kind of comparing all the different beiges together. He's got the hat, he's feeling cool. Lots of pockets in the cargo pants. You know, it's classy, but it's versatile because you could really dress it up if you have something important, like a picture day at school or somewhere to go. But it's also comfortable and casual. The funny thing is there's two shirts with this, there's like a white button down underneath it. And Mike was kind of like, I never wore two shirts together, but he seemed to like it. Wait, here you go. There's the Mike pose and like he was like, hm I'm thinking about getting this one. I like it and pulls it all together. Yes. The kids were just live loving it up, loving and profiling, especially for the elementary kids have so much versatility with these outfits. I know I really liked it. So we do want to thank our friends over at H and M for giving our kids so many great looks to try out as we get into the style for this back to school season. Those are your high schoolers right there. And uh we're gonna have more of this coming up. We're gonna have uh also for you uh different styles that are under, I believe it's $40. So we also wanna have the budget in there as well and H and m was able to do that for us. We love that. They won't break the bank. Yes.
