The annual migration of over 57,000 beluga whales is happening in Canadian waters. Every summer the whales travel from the arctic sea to warmer waters in Manitoba, Canada and people can watch their journey thanks to Explore.org, the site is home to the world's largest nature live-streaming network. The migration tells experts a lot about the whale's numbers and gives clues about the arctic ecosystem. Valeria Vergara, PhD. Program Director, Whales Initiative at Ocean Wise joins us to talk about this annual event.
