Alright, we're gonna keep this conversation going looking ahead to a couple of the series this weekend. Let's bring in our host of Bet MGM tonight? I always love coming on uh for me, I think it's a sneaky match up. A lot of people like that nets Celtics matchup. But to me, I love Minnesota and Memphis. You're talking about two young, very athletic teams with guys who love to pop off with Pat Beverley. Right? And of course Dylan brooks, they're both irritants. You've got two stars, you've got an Edwards and john Moran exciting guys who are gonna definitely light up the scene. I think that this is probably the most intriguing matchup for me because it's athleticism and youth against athleticism and youth, wow, you're talking about stars and didn't mention Karl Anthony towns a little disrespectful there. I like it though. I like that was the star of the other night. Listen, that's one game, I mean and in the playoffs he had, yeah, listen, it's just one game, let's talk about some series betting specials. Bet MGM is offering. Let's start in the East the Sixers and Raptor who's winning the series? And by how many games? By how, by how many games and how many games in how many games? I think that this, I think that this could go seven you can get Raptor plus 1, 52 win the series. Which in my opinion is probably the best best value. I just think like and you know Alex like it's gonna be too tough for the 60 to defend all of the wings and that's basically all nick nurse has 67269 guys who can slash who can shoot and like their number one perimeter defender can't play in any of the games in Canada Matisse table because he's not vaccinated. I think pascal Viacom is going to eat. I think the game plan is to blitz Joel and just like kind of like you talked about with Karl, Anthony towns blitz the center and make everybody else beat you. But you know the difference between Minnesota and Philly is they don't have the type of perimeter shooting even though they have Danny green even though they've got cork moss, but I I just don't see hardened returning to Houston form and the others being able to shoulder the burden that if the ball is getting taken out of Joel and beats hand. So I really like Toronto in this spot. Alright now we gotta talk about the Celtics and the nets, the Celtics are the two seed but are you actually surprised to see them as the favorites here? I mean no not really. I know that the nets are a sexy pick and they have been all year just because of KD and Kyrie but from a matchup perspective the Celtics have the upper hand, they're the number one defense in the league, nets are the 20th To me this could easily be one of those series where it's too, too and everyone thinks that the series is in the nets hand, but really you've got KD and Kyrie playing a ton of minutes by the way, nobody is talking about the fact that Kyrie is dealing with Ramadan, he's not drinking or eating throughout the course of this series. Right? And as time goes on, the series goes longer, I think that those amount of minutes that steve nash is going to play him because he has to, is going to take a toll and I like the Celtics just because of their defense and their death. Do you see any value though in the nets covering that 1.5 game series spread? Oh man, I think it's probable. I think it's more probable that nets winning five than the nets win in seven. I like boston minus 1.5 more. I think that the Celtics could seal this up in six and that wouldn't cover the number. The only way the number really works is that you plan for this to go seven so No, I don't. Alright, Mavericks and Jazz now Utah pretty heavily favored as the lower seed, although they've had some consistency issues over the later half of the year. So how do you like the value for the Mavs if Luca can get on the court. If you can get on the court, the math should make light work. That's the big thing though. Like luke is probably not going to play a game one if he's hobbled for the first couple of games, of course the outcome is different. This is why I think the, that Vegas has the Mavs in this series. The Jazz have lost by the way to 31 leads in two back to back years, once against the Nuggets and then once against the clippers last year. Given the fact that Luca's gonna probably miss game one and game two, I think that this series could be long but I actually like Jalen Bronson to back look up. I think that Spencer Dinwiddie is a huge piece to score in clutch situations. Dwight Powell is a is a really good match up for Rudy Gobert as much as you can be right and honestly like Donovan Mitchell is not gonna throw Rudy Gobert the ball anyway, so I like this team. Uh defensively they're going to make the life hell for Donovan Mitchell and if he goes cold, it's night night sleep mask another injury question for you here. We don't know what's going on with Steph curry in Game one, He's gonna play though. But how do you see this series playing out with some with some uncertainty around Steph? Well, I think that's the biggest thing. Right. How healthy is he? Even if he plays? I'm not really sure if he's gonna be right informed. He's kind of gone through shoot shooting slumps through the course of the season with breaking the record. The latest news though. Oh boy Jamal Murray could be back according to President tim Connolly. That could certainly change things as well. Right. Yokich is gonna be a problem for Draymond and for Kevon Kevon Looney. I don't think that he's going to be able to get really shut down. The question is who else? If you find ways to like just allow your kids to score 50 who else can shoulder the burden? I guess that's gotta be Aaron Gordon? I lean the warriors just because of their championship pedigree and I'm hoping that Clay can return back to playoff for him. So you kinda gotta give him the nod.
