Beyond Meat Plant Reportedly Shows Disgusting Conditions

But now we've seen continued declining sales at grocery stores, more competition in this space and now you have even more headaches like this here. Yeah, baker and I mean, I feel like we can only expect that competition to kind of continue to surge is a lot more people move away from, you know, meat products. But I do want to mention though that a lot of what's driving these declines is the fact that plant based meat is still more expensive and according to that report, you know, meat alternatives did sell at retail. Um, you know, it fell almost 12% over the past year. You know, there is still a significant price difference. I think there's £4 of beef, it's like 3 95 7 79 for a pound of beyond me. This was from a report back in 2021. So those prices may have changed now, but they were suggesting that this price parity may actually kind of be closing pretty soon here, especially as we see inflation really affect every aspect of americans lives. Obviously we've seen meat prices go up, but then again we've seen it come for, you know, plant based meats as well. So obviously companies like beyond meat are really pushing to get these price parity and check here even as consumers kind of turn away from these more premium products. So really no question here, why this company is suffering right now.
