The Biden administration has canceled nearly $37 million in student debt for students who attended the University of Phoenix. More than 1200 borrowers will be affected. Many of whom applied for the borrower defense program which allows people who can prove that they were misled and defrauded by these schools to get their loans forgiven. According to the Department of Education, the school's ads made students believe that their job opportunities would improve because of the partnerships that the school supposedly had with thousands of corporations.
