Biden Administration to Label Devices Based on Cybersecurity

The Biden administration and the Federal Communications Commission announced a new effort today to label and identify smart devices like tvs, home security cameras, baby monitors and fitness trackers that are less vulnerable to hacking devices that meet the National Institute of Standards and Technologies requirements will receive a US cyber trust mark, Amazon Samsung best Buy Google have already signed up to participate. Officials expect the program to launch early next year.
