President Biden will hold a meeting with his cancer cabinet this afternoon as part of his cancer Moonshot initiative to find a cure for the disease. The group includes members of the Department of Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs and the National Institute of Health. Among several others. White House says First Lady Jill Biden will also be taking part and she took part in 40 events supporting this initiative. She will be at today's meeting. The event will be the president's first public appearance since House Speaker Kevin mccarthy announced a formal impeachment inquiry into him yesterday, the Biden administration calls the inquiry quote illegitimate.
