Big Tech Companies Agree to White House A.I. Safeguards

I understand that tech giants are agreeing to artificial intelligence standards. What has Cheddar News learned? That's right. So, Amazon Google Meta Microsoft and other companies, they have agreed to artificial intelligence safeguards set in place by the Biden administration and the White House said Friday, it secured voluntary commitments from seven US companies to ensure that their A I products are safe before they're released. Third party oversight of commercial AI systems is part of some of the commitments. It isn't clear though who's going to audit the technology and hold these companies account of them. Well A I has gathered a lot of buzz this year given its ability to write convincingly similar texts to humans and release images in media that have actually concerned people about the tech's ability to trick people and even potentially spread misinformation.
