While tech giants like Apple, Facebook, Google, and Microsoft have all made a commitment to diversity and inclusion, Silicon Valley's most prominent Black founders say that their efforts are simply not enough. According to a recent study, the share of Black technical workers at big tech companies sits at less than 4%, barely an improvement from when efforts were kicked off in 2014. Michael Ellison is a co-founder and CEO of Codepath.org, an organization that aims to prepare more under-represented minorities for careers in the technology industry.
