Since February, 41% of Black-owned businesses have closed their doors compared to 17% of white-owned businesses. Amid the pandemic struggles, one organization, Black Restaurant Week, is here to help. Since 2015, the organization has developed its multi-city culinary movement of community and culture as it relates to supporting black-owned businesses and talent within the food and beverage industries, and will host its inaugural campaign in New York City from November 13 to 22.
