Blue Shield of California Drops CVS Pharmacy Benefit Services

Insurance company, Blue Shield of California is dropping cvs's Pharmacy benefit Management services after 15 years, moving forward, Blue Shield will now partner with Amazon Pharmacy and Mark Cuban's cost plus drug company, Blue Shield. CEO says the plan could save the company up to $500 million annually. It's set to launch in 2025. The company will continue to keep hold of CVS Caremark for specialty pharmacy services.
