Boom Supersonic on Mission to Cut Flight Times in Half

When the Concorde turbojet was retired in 2003, many thought the days of a three-hour flight between New York and London were over. But one new airliner is looking to keep the dream alive. Boom Supersonic is developing a fleet of planes that would get travelers from New York to London in three-and-a-half hours, Los Angeles to Sydney in eight hours, and San Francisco to Tokyo in six hours. The planes are currently in development. Blake Scholl, Founder and CEO at Boom Supersonic, discusses how the Overture commercial jet will transform travel, and provides a timeline for when we will see it in operation.
