When the Concorde turbojet was retired in 2003, many thought the days of a three-hour flight between New York and London were over. But one new airliner is looking to keep the dream alive. Boom Supersonic is developing a fleet of planes that would get travelers from New York to London in three-and-a-half hours, Los Angeles to Sydney in eight hours, and San Francisco to Tokyo in six hours. The planes are currently in development.
