I get to have, we get to have a lot of fascinating conversations on this show. And the next one is no exception, Kristen, I recently sat down with Susanna Pier. She's one of the most established actresses in Brazil who starred in some of the country's most popular films and telenovelas, she's also the founder of a nonprofit, helping women launch businesses. And she just wrote a book encouraging women to take control of their own destinies. He spoke about that and so much more, take a look. I like that. Why did you decide to write Unleashed? I've been working with my foundation on N DC for the past five years. And this experience, you know, inspired me to write a book about our three paints as a woman in a work environment. Sharon Stone wrote for Tell me More about that. Yes. Yes, because, and you know, I don't know her personally. Yeah, she's not my friend. Like she's a woman that, you know, I, I request to my man. Oh, please, let's, let's talk to Sharon Stone's people because I think she's one of the most interesting women in Hollywood. And we send the book to her to read and she said yes. So this Hannah, this is, this was a real sorority experience that I've had, you know, that I've had to, uh because she told me she's telling me I am with you. But why, why her? Because when I started, you know, in my career as an actress, she was uh you know, with basic instinct, a superstar, she's a seal, but she was in her prime and I was like this woman's everything because she is sexy. She's intelligent. She's a great actress and she was always like uh inspiration to me. So speaking of inspiration, you are also one of those women that are very inspiring to so many people tell us more about your nonprofit. Oh my God. Oh my God, it's my baby. Um I started in 2018 because in Brazil, we have a lot of talented women. You know, we are bikini and carnival, but not only that we are talented, we studied a lot, but we don't have uh a support to make us, you know, go ahead and make money and my institution is about to make money. But to do that, you need to start with your personal development. So we gave them affirmation, you know, an education to be uh entrepreneur. So how did you fund your organization? Of course. Oh my God. One night I woke up with the idea like I need to do that for women. I was feeling lonely and now I've never fill it again. I didn't have money to put in the first place and I wanted to, to do an investment. So I sold 12 Chanel's bags. So you sold your own Chanel? Yeah. Ok. Wow. 12 all of them? Ok. And I put, uh, you know, and a friend of mine, she had a ee luxury car and she put my, my picture, you know, paparazzi picture and the purse and the bag and you know, in one month we, we sold it. I do wanna talk about your incredible acting career for viewers that don't know. You start in movies TV, series 15 telenovela where by the way, we were talking about this off camera. One season can have 200 episodes. Talk to me about the workload as a performer. I did telenovelas for 24 years as a writer and actress and as an actress, it's like you work like Monday to Saturday, 12 hours a day and you only have the Sunday to memorize your lines and you have the whole country. It's like 250 million people watching you every day. And so your life is about that sounds stressful. Yeah, it's, it's a lot but it's, you know, for an artist, it's everything that we want. And then when I started to write telenovelas, you know, um I've had a different experience that people knew that I was writing because I was a famous actress and they were like, oh, no, you shouldn't do that with this character. And you've been on the front line of the strike as well? What do you want people to know about these strikes going on that? They may not know? Oh, yeah, it's, it's so important, you know, because we are not, we need our residuals, you know, here in America and in the whole world because Hollywood set the basis for, you know, Brazil Spain and everywhere. So as a writer and as an actor, I'm with them, you know, all the time, all the way and I'm new in town in, in L A, but I'm there, I'm, I'm working in Hollywood, so I need to, I'm, I'm there, you know.
