California's Department of Water Resources said it will be able to deliver 30% of the requested water as the state was suffering through a drought prior to the heavy rainstorms.

CA Water Regulators Can Give More Water Allocation After Storms

All that rain in California is trickling down to farms. The state's department of water resources announced that it's going to be able to deliver 30% of requested water and that's big because more than 27 million people and more than a million acres of farmland rely on those deliveries before the rain drenched. The state department only expected to be able to satisfy about 10% of demand. The drought isn't over, however, but those storms gave the region's reservoirs and mountain snow snow packed a much needed boost. That means that there's gonna be some water come summertime.
