Keep Labs Declines CES Invite After Being Banned From Using Term Cannabis
It's CES week in Las Vegas! This year cannabis company, Keep Labs, was an honoree of the Innovation Award. This marks the first time a company centered around marijuana has ever won an award from the Consumer Electronic Show. Keep, which uses facial recognition for the secure storage of cannabis in people's homes, was invited to present in Vegas, but only if the company's signage, marketing materials and the device--were free from cannabis product and paraphernalia. Keep Labs joined Cheddar to discuss why they chose to decline the invite.

The Future of Recreational Marijuana in Florida
Recreational marijuana will not be on the ballot in Florida in the November election but it could be done through legislative means. On Monday, Democratic Representative in Florida's Legislature Carlos G. Smith introduced a bill that would allow a person to possess up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana and expand existing medical marijuana dispensaries to include recreational sales. Representative Smith joined Cheddar to discuss.
