CBS is taking a massive step toward diversity and inclusion. The network is now requiring its reality shows to ensure 50% or more of their casts are Black, indigenous, or people of color. This comes after CBS had been criticized for its lack of diversity on hit reality shows such as Big Brother and Survivor. Brice Izayah, who was the first Black, openly gay contestant on Survivor and Co-Creator of Black Survivor Coalition joined Wake Up With Cheddar to share his insider perspective.
