A CDC advisory panel mostly followed the FDA's decision earlier this week - giving the green light to third doses of the Pfizer vaccine for people age 65 and older, nursing home residents, and people from age 50 to 64 with underlying medical conditions. But in a rare move, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky overruled the panel - adding a recommendation for Americans with jobs that put them at risk to be added to the list. Walensky says the CDC will also look at Moderna's and Johnson & Johnson's data when available.Infectious disease specialist Dr. David Dodson joined Cheddar's News Wrap to discuss.
