And new CDC data shows us births keep declining in 2022 while millions of babies were born in the US, they were about 3000 fewer than the year before. For experts, that's not statistically significant, but it does show our overall annual birth rate which began to drop more than 10 years ago keeps falling. According to the report, the birth rate among 15, the 19 year olds fell to a record low but increased for people in their thirties and forties. Researchers say this is in line with the upward trend of delaying parenthood.
