The CEO of AD/Fin Andrew Altersohn joined Cheddar on set to talk about his company, which is a programmatic advertising service. The programmatic advertising market makes about $100 billion a day, but there is little transparency about how a dollar moves from an advertiser’s hands to publishers, according to Altersohn.“Media is being bought and sold programmatically,” said Altersohn on Tuesday. “It is a marketplace with very little unbiased, independent information of what is actually happening. Ad/Fin has taken on a big data technology approach to hep buyers and sellers help understand the market they are in. It is all about transparency.”
