Our smartphones have become a major part of our daily lives and are capable of doing so many amazing things for us but our next guest is pioneering hologram technology to transfer the way we live work play and so much more joining us now is Taylor scott Ceo and founder of I can a company on a mission to take ideas of the future and transformed them into reality. Thank you so much for joining us. Taylor, thank you. I can has created the world's first hologram accessory. Can you walk us through how this technology works and what it's capable of? Yeah, so a big passion of ours was when we found it, I can um was goggle based technology. While it is very fascinating, it's very immersive, it's very cumbersome for a lot of people. So our goal was to be able to create a device that could actually connect via the bottom poured of your phone, take all of that rendering data, all of your photos, all of your videos and be able to translate them into a volumetric projected environment. When we say projected. We mean that actual floating in space system with volumes you can actually move around it. And again it's all coming directly from your smartphone. You can plug it in directly. That is so cool. So what are some of the consumer applications for the hologram technology? I'm really excited about it. A big passion of mine. It's a big reason why I made the device in the first place when I was in my teens was for that Princess Leia communication moment. So one of the things that we're gonna be able to allow you to have is that real time communication where your projected in someone else's space and their projected in your space and you can actually see them in depth and in volume just utilizing the phone that you have today. Wow. So are you talking large scale just their head or their like entire body can be transported to your living room. So it can be a lot of things. So the device that you're seeing there, that's the device that we call the R because that's a prototype device that we have for a lot of our B two B applications specifically. There's a lot of military applications that we use that for. Um and that's more of a desktop system that we're gonna be delivering later. What's actually gonna be delivered now is essentially a mobile accessory that's about the same size as your smartphone that attaches to it. So it's more of a handheld device the same way as if you're going to be making a facetime call and that's how you gonna be able to communicate with many people at once. Oh and this, I'm sure it can be helpful for businesses to have conference calls and various things like that. How do you see businesses applying holographic technology. Well, one thing that we've done is we've done some really unique research on the amount of engagement and interest that comes emotionally from systems like this. So we even did some tests which was very unique with infants and saying the response between using a mobile phone screen and a holographic screen at the same time. And again, because we're not using headgear were able to actually watch their eyes and where they're focused. So we would display the exact same video footage on both the phone and in our projection technology, 92% of the time. Even infants were more interested in the hologram when they were in the actual two d. Screen. So it's actually easier to digest visually the data that's being presented there and it's more interesting. So in a workplace, especially when it comes to collaborative team events, it's really going to increase people's ability to collaborate on their ideas. Oh, I can see that definitely happened. How do you think the holograms will make um sort of our daily lives easier in the future just around the house? Besides just having fun and looking at people during conversations well, especially from a holographic standpoint, being able to communicate ideas in the same room together. It's one way, especially from an educational standpoint. One thing that we see is especially with covid and having to go through education systems with with us having to look at zoom for hours and hours being able to increase their uh interest in the actual educational subject is one massive interest for us as well as even just streaming systems, entertainment systems as you can see there with the wasp being able to interact with games and environments like that. In fact, the whole reason that I created the entire thing was for the ability to play even better video games. But for now being able to take everything that we have and drastically increase our visual interest in it is going to be nothing but beneficial. Wow. So what's the innovation of the future then? I mean this is amazing in itself. But what's next for? I can I know you guys are already thinking of the next project besides holograms. Yeah, we've got some really cool ones. The the key to what we do is not only does our hologram live um you know, in your hands, but it actually lives in an ambient environment. So unlike other systems, you'll notice that we don't polarize, we don't give you sunglasses for anything, We don't darken the room. It's a unique polymer that we've invented. And so for that now we're looking at being able to take massive space is essentially if you watch the movie, Minority report, being able to actually have an entire interactive space, we can now do that in a very bright environment. So now that's that's that's what we're doing and for our future, wait, when you said we can now do that, you mean like now you've already created it and you're like swiping from left to right and things but we do, yeah, that's what we do, what I can, wow, that is so cool. Do you have to wear the gloves? It's almost like the virtual really, yep, no, so, and, and I can't get into too many details because it's well, yes, you can go ahead, go ahead. I won't tell anyone we use some unique forms of, we call it psychological perception tracking, but we do allow you to use a lot of different movements and control systems to be able to control the actual rendering environments. The rendering environment itself actually adapt to the individuals. So actually learn how they like to move with their equipment. Then we take that we use that as an artificial network prior to the rendering system. So if you move your hands in particular ways, we'll even teach you how to use certain movements to be able to control the environment. And what will allow you to do is actually you can pinch and zoom and actually move things. You saw that, that prototype device earlier of the ark, that's one of the devices being able to actually hold your hand up and actually swipe things and move them. That's what we're building today, wow, that is amazing. I can't wait. We're gonna definitely keep an eye on icann and everything you guys are doing over there.
