This is your daily news briefing from Chatter news. The FDA has granted full approval of the Alzheimer's Drug Lake and this is the first medicine proven to slow the course of Alzheimer's. The approval has cleared the way for Medicare and Medicaid to start covering the drug and that will expand access to nearly a million people who suffer from the early stages of the disease. Uber doordash and other food delivery have filed lawsuits seeking to strike down New York City's new law that sets minimum wage requirements for delivery workers. The companies are saying that law which goes into effect on July 12 is based on a misunderstanding of how food delivery service works. The new law will require those companies to pay workers almost $18 an hour. Volkswagen will start testing driverless electric vehicles on the streets of Texas later this month. The autonomous vehicles will be in the retro van style that the automaker is known for. Volkswagen says each van will also have a human driver on board that will ensure safety during the initial test runs.
