And time now for a look at the weather, the heat is on Michelle and I were just talking about that for the next week across most of the country and some rain in the southeast and parts of the west during your Labor Day weekend. Here's a full forecast. I'm Samantha with your latest cheddar weather update while the heat will be building across the United States again, especially in the next week as we head into your September here tomorrow, a couple hot spots. We have temperatures in the nineties to near 100 degrees and that heat is rising north into the Midwest. It's going to be nice around the northeast that fall feel in the morning and temps in the seventies throughout your afternoon today with lots of beautiful sunshine. So behind Idalia now tracking out over the ocean and weakening, we do have that dry weather with high pressure, not too many big storms around across the Gulf States, we do have some showers and storms popping up in the afternoon with the warm humid weather in place. And that's going to be the story as you head into the start of the weekend as well across the north, it's nice and quiet. It's hot in the Midwest here and we have some unsettled weather across parts of the west, especially around the four corners. So Sunday into Monday for Labor Day, the heat is on and it's tracking east around the northeast. We have temperatures in the eighties to near 90 degrees in some spots. We could have some rough conditions on our beaches as what's left Idalia still just spiraling around and parked out over the Atlantic will be watching that in the coming week by Tuesday. Things are looking ok. Still no big storms around. So that is the good news here today. Beautiful in New York City. 76 degrees with lots of sunshine. It is warmer places like Chicago, 82 Cincinnati sunny and 85 Florida today pop up storms in the afternoon temps in the eighties to near 90 very warm and humid and there's that heat from Houston to Dallas. Tempts near 100 degrees. We have showers today in San Francisco at 70. So a little bit cooler and unsettled breezy Salt Lake City with sunshine for you. It's hot from Denver to Rapid City. Lots of sun with temperatures topping out in the nineties. And thanks to Samantha for that report.
