Cheddar Weather: Monday Morning Forecast

Time now for a look at the weather aftermath of tropical storm Ophelia causing some wet weather on the east coast. We're feeling it here in New York City. Plus temperatures are getting cold in the northern parts of the country. Here's a full forecast. Hi, I'm meteorologist Christy Campana. And let's take a look across our big map here across the United States. We are seeing some wet weather today. We saw those remnants of Ophelia now pushing out along the east coast and we are seeing some wet weather also along the west coast here in Seattle and some all the way down here in the southeast by Florida. We are seeing that wet weather stick around for three Thursday, clearing out a little bit on the northeast, sticking around down here in the southeast US for us and Friday as well. Looks like it hangs around down there, especially as it's still hurricane season. We are seeing that moisture are high temperatures across the nation. New York, seeing 63 Tampa, seeing 92 pretty warm down there for fall 66 in Seattle, 82 in Albuquerque and now the northeast a little closer look. 62 in Boston. They are seeing some wet weather in New York City. 61 Pittsburgh 69. And as we go down south, we are getting much warmer. 89 in New Orleans, 89 in Charleston as well. And 92 like we said in Tampa, with that wet weather. Let's take a look now towards the west coast, Salt Lake City. 85 Albuquerque, 84 a little cooler in San Francisco on the coast. And those high temperatures for Tuesday as well stay in that same kind of range for the areas. Sixties in the northeast southeast seeing high eighties and nineties, 84 in buildings and 62 a little chillier like we said out on the coast. Same thing on Wednesday though those temperatures remain in the eighties for most of the South region, the Midwest seeing eighties and some nineties a little warmer in Houston 92. And then those temperature outlooks now for October, this is October 1st through October 7th. We are seeing that the eastern half of the United States is trending a bit warmer. Those those red colors are trending a bit warmer for this side of the United States and they are trending a bit cooler for the western side of the United States.
