The weather, warm weather for the southeast though the northwest is seeing some below 60 ft, temperatures plus storms hitting areas in the Midwest. Here's your full forecast. I'm meteorologist Samantha. With your latest cheddar weather update right. Today across the northwest, we have cool weather across the south and east. It's hot and humid right along that sharp change in temperatures. Today, we'll be tracking some strong to severe storms up into the Midwest and by next week, this pattern will flip so it's going to get hot in the northwest and then cooler much needed relief here from Texas to Florida and along the east coast where temperatures will turn a little bit below normal. Now, today where it's very warm, we have that sunshine, New York City to Atlanta in the Midwest. We're watching storms pop up later this afternoon into this evening. Some could be strong to severe with the damaging winds, very heavy rain and hail as we head into your day tomorrow, that threat will start to track to the east a little bit places like northern Texas into Oklahoma and Missouri tracking the chance for strong to severe storms and then that rain slides towards the east coast by Friday into Saturday, the northeast will be getting some rain clearing out in the Midwest to northwest and temperatures will be warming up for you. So that's when that shift will take place. We're going to be looking at the hotter weather across the west. So today, 81 in New York City, more of that summer feel 84 in Washington DC, 84 sunshine today in Chicago across the south we have 90 again in Tampa but sunny skies. No storm threat for you today. Houston 88 chance for pop up storms late. Much cooler with showers. It's unsettled from Seattle at 61 Salt Lake City. 56 may be some wintry precipitation up in the mountains.
