It's time for feed where we highlight some of the stories spotted on social media. First, rescuers swooped in to help an owl who was struggling in a backyard pool. This happened in Long Island, New York. You can see staff from the Strong Island Animal Rescue League carefully pulling the owl out of the water. Last week, they used a large pool net. The president of the group was able to reach the house within minutes of receiving a call about the owl. The animal was taken to Sweet Briar Nature Center for examination after the rescue. I hope the owl is doing just fine.
