Out of the weather forecast, as we mentioned earlier, a large storm system is hitting the Midwest and south that could put a damper on a lot of people's holiday travel. Here's your full forecast. Hello, everybody. I'm star team meteorologist, Mike Rizzo with your cheddar weather update. We're watching for a large scale storm developing in the middle of the country and this is gonna impact our Thanksgiving travel at least through the early part of this week. So if you're an individual that wants to get that early start, that kick start to go, uh, this is definitely gonna impact your weather. You know, we're watching for severe storms, we're watching for tornadoes or watching for hail, especially along the deep south. So certainly something to keep in mind, especially if traveling through Atlanta Airport, that is probably going to be one of the, uh, bigger delays of the country, right? And that's a major hub and we know that even the northeast, this is gonna be impacting the northeast from New York to Philadelphia to Washington DC all the way up to New England and Maine. That's where you'll end up with some stormy weather late Tuesday. And into early on Wednesday and lingering through Wednesday out toward New England, the Deep South. This is a bad situation all the way from Texas to Louisiana all the way to Alabama to the Tennessee River Valley. This is where severe weather is gonna be setting up associated with the front of this storm as it drags in some Gulf of Mexico moisture. The upper Midwest though, uh the Great Plains probably trending a little bit better for the midweek. And we'll see an area of high pressure moving into the far west, the west coast that is gonna allow for Santa Ana winds to set up along the, the Los Angeles area. That's gonna create that breezy environment for the midweek this week. So the stormy weather, the threat for some severe weather certainly coming into the deep south here. And that's something for you to just be aware of if traveling out toward the Mississippi River Valley, uh, that's gonna be for today. And then eventually that storm lifts out of the way and that storm does head toward the northeast. So again, tornadoes hail strong winds downpours and flooding out toward the Mississippi River Valley from Louisiana, Texas, Missouri and also out toward uh western Tennessee as well. We're watching for that storm to lift into New England and the northeast as we head into Wednesday early morning. And then it does get much better notice the country will be under mostly sunny conditions with the exception of the Pacific Northwest and the Rockies seeing some snow as we head into Thanksgiving morning.
