John Petrides, managing director and portfolio manager at Point View Wealth Management, discusses what could be an emerging trade war between the U.S. and China. The U.S. announced what Chinese goods it plans to place tariffs on. China then announced more tariffs on U.S. goods such as soybeans and auto parts. Petrides does not think the actions by both countries will derail the global economy, even though markets plunged on the news.
