when Cleo and Joanna aren't helping us break down today's top stories. They're hosting a new friendship focus podcast called Best Friends Energy. That's right. The weekly chat series will invite listeners into the hosts? Inner circle life's up and downs and a variety of trending topic. Okay, so big question guys, why did you both decide you wanted to host a podcast together? That's really sort of centered around the theme of friendship here because we are best friends and our business, the home edit it is because we're best friends and we wanted to bring that same energy into a podcast for um, and you know, we want to have the conversations you can only have as friends. We want to have people on that we can chat, become best friends with show off. Our best friends. Talk about people that we want to be best friends with. It's the energy that two friends can bring together bring to other people. Well, the show is already welcome so many amazing guests. We're talking Lauren Conrad designer Rachel's. So that's amazing. And there's so many podcasts featuring celebrity guests. But what do you think your celebrity interviews, Why are they so different than the saturated market of podcasts? And I think it's the, we want to have new and different conversations. We want to have the kinds of conversations that you can really only sit down at a circle and have with your friends and a lot of the people that we bring on our actually our friends in real life or again, there are friends that we want to be there. Also Friends. we will force your friends must be our friends and I got to know who else do you want to force to be your friends and not already your friends but they're big stars, we would love to hear, you know what you mean? Like a dream guest, maybe some that you already have on the schedule. Alright, alright. Our top is always were unified in this Michelle Obama. Always unified in that answer. But I lately my dream, my other dream Grass is India I am obsessed with. I would love to have We also like to have people like either a couple or like two friends that are already really different. I would love to have tom Holland and Zendaya actual best friends, best friends but we are actually so excited cause we're interviewing Jesse Tyler Ferguson this week Yeah, we're interviewing Drew Barrymore this week. One of our dear friends where Zoey Deutch is going to be on this huge name really it's a really fun time for us, It's really great. And the podcast is produced by both Sony music entertainment and Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine, how does being backed by these two amazing companies help your podcast? What has the collaboration been like? Well, first of all they're both incredible partners and they allow us to be ourselves which order they allow us to be ourselves and they amplify everything that we do and get behind everything that we do in such a big and important ways. So, you know, hello Sunshine is all about female storytelling and that's what this podcast is really about. Even when we're not talking to females, it's still the two of us and they just stand behind everything. We're just a part of their bigger community. And Sony has been just the most incredible partner to, well, let's talk a little bit more about reason, the company, cause they acquired your company back in february. So how they have you, how have you guys maybe evolved since that acquisition and has really sort of been hands on with that you guys have amplified in all the different verticals that we're working on in our entire business. So it's really a match made in heaven. We couldn't have dreamed up a possible better partners, whether it's our media arm, which has books, magazine, tv show podcast or our product division of consumer products that we have at various um, container store and walmart are community building on social. Everything that we do. I feel like they're just the biggest supporters and amplifiers of our work. I don't know where you have time to do all these things because you also have your own netflix show is called, get organized with home edit. You show yourselves, helping the celebrities kind of organize their clutter including chris patten chris Pratt, kevin Hart, Winnie Harlow the list goes on and on Khloe Kardashian of all people. So who would you say is the messiest celebrity out there? Come on. Well, I would say this she's not messy but her job is a liability for her closet and it's Rachel's. Oh yeah, a lot of clothes. Yeah. It's not that she's messy. She is um she she owns a lot. Yeah. And it's always growing like her actual collection never stops. So we have organized her closet now three times and every time we do, they're more new things. Yeah, it's amazing. But again, we blame it on her, we blame it on her occupation. Exactly. She's just got tons of stuff. It's fabulous if tom ford himself designed you something right like you don't need this, just go ahead and no, we're really not really not tried the first time, it doesn't work. So obviously the show's second season aired earlier this year. Any plans for a third season or their talks about that? Just stay tuned. Yes, I want to go back to your podcast because you offered a bonus episode titled Unpacking Martha Stewart and Snoop Friendship. So we want to get in on that. Okay, so best friend Energy BFv. We have a segment called notorious B. F. E. And its friendships made in Heaven, right that we just want to talk about and we like to get we want the facts. We want all the t on their friendship and we inform each other on our favorite facts about these friendships. I'm obsessed with Martha. It's amazing. It's a funny, interesting relationship. I love it. We're obsessed and we need to get in that. Yes. And I just love that Martha is out there. I mean She is I mean like 80 years old. Like I know I we aspire, we just need, we I guess we're each other's best friends, but if we could get in there and I'm like, I'm not nearly as cool snoop, so we have to find a third to get ladies.
