Comedian Robyn Schall Crosses 'Talk Show Host' Off Her Goals List

guys, when our next guest isn't killing it on tour, she's busy creating her list of things to manifest in her life. I've always been told if you want things to happen, you have to speak it out. Yes. And earlier this week I sat down with comedian Robin Scholl to discuss her comedy. Plus if she's crossed livestream with Tom Hanks off her list yet, we'll explain. Take a look. So, Robin first, I wanna say welcome to trending, thank you so much for being here. We're so excited, I am so happy to be here. So we were looking at your social media today, we're at the beginning of the year. You and your, your followers set up your door with goals and how you officially cross off talk show guests off the door. How's the list going so far? Great. Actually, this really should get it crossed off. We crossed it off last week, but I feel like this officially makes talk show guests crossed off. I see. Tom thanks a lot on your door, house, live streaming with Tom Hanks going not well, so we started making these lists back in 2020 and we keep having to make new lists because everything keeps getting crossed off except Livestream with Tom Hanks, he just, I don't know, I don't know, we can't get them. Well, tom if you're watching, we would love for you to live stream with Robin, please, Tom just five minutes, let's talk about the big ones. You crossed off. These are huge. You sat down with Oprah, yep, wow, kim Kardashian sent you something per per perfume amazing. So what's number one on next year's list? All that? Well, I mean, tom Hanks still, we gotta carry him over, because I, although I do think it would be amazing if I do this for the next 60 years and every year, Tom Hanks is like, I don't want it to be crossed because now I've got attached to seeing it on the list, I think just keep growing and making as many people laugh as possible. I'm on, you're right now and getting to So I went, you know, I've been doing stand up for 12 years, but then I went viral during the pandemic. And so I could see that there were millions watching my videos, but I couldn't hear the laughter and now the pandemic, because you know, calm down a little back on the road and I get to hear people laughing. So I just, I want to do that more and more and just make more people laugh. I'm glad you brought up your tour, you're making your way across the country. What's been your favorite part so far? Is it just having people in the audience? I mean, live theater is is magic. You know, because you can talk to people, my shows are like, nothing else, anyone has ever experienced because I do my stand up. But I also have interaction. I bring people on stage, Someone once got married at my show. Like everything's just, it's wild and I just, I love hearing the laughter, I love knowing, I don't know what's gonna happen. Each show is so different whether it's texas, Vegas, buffalo, new york, do you feel like you have to change your material for whatever city you're in? Not really, not, not, you know, I think it used to be now everyone in the audience or people who usually know me tickets, you should go to people who want to see me before the pandemic. That wasn't the case. So if I was performing for the troops and the whole audience were 18, 19 year old boys, you know? Yes, I would, I'd go super dirty and like change it that way versus if I'm, I'm jewish. So if I from a lot of temples, I would do the opposite of that and do a lot of material about my mom and things like that. So I used to change it now, the whole audience or people who follow me. So I could just, I could do it all. There's so many people that are discovering you and think you're hilarious. How would you describe your show to first timers that are just getting to know you? I would say it's a party, it's a, it's a good time. It's an hour and a half when you turn off your back and you just laugh. We don't, you know, it's not about politics or religion or anything, it's just people in a room coming together and maybe talking about those things. But in a way where we're just laughing. Nothing so heavy. It's just, it's a party. It's the Robin shawl experience. You've also been on several episodes of the Bachelorette podcast off the vine with Caitlin Huey, huge fan. Would you ever want to take a break from comedy and oh, I don't know, host the Bachelor or Bachelorette? Absolutely, no. I want to be the Bachelor. Ask. Okay hosting? Yes. That's what I want to do with my career. But for my love life, I want to date 27 men who are gorgeous who just make out with me all the time. I don't know anything about them. It is a dream come true. It's a dream come true. Like there are so many people like my mom was always like, I don't understand why you like this show, Robin. It's so degrading. I'm like, no mom, it's my dream. I just want men, I know nothing about who I make out with. So gold. We should, we should also get, you should put that on your door. You should put us on your door.
