Country Song Lyrics Draw Controversy

There's a new country song topping the charts, but it's also bringing some political controversy. The song is called Rich Men, North of Richmond from artist Oliver Anthony. He's been dubbed a Working Man's Anthem. The song has now, the song is currently number one on Apple Music's top 100 songs in the US. But some of the lyrics have drawn controversy. There's a line where Anthony sings about how he wishes politicians would stop looking out for quote minors on an island and lyrics like quote and the obese milken welfare. Anthony has not addressed the controversy but he did take to social media to thank fans for streaming the song.
