A Mississippi court ruled that it won't remove NFL Hall of Famer Brett Farr from a lawsuit alleging he and the director of a nonprofit Miss spent millions of dollars in welfare money. The Department of Human Services filed the lawsuit in 2022 alleging money meant to assist low income residents in the state was misspent by far. And nonprofit director, Nancy New, the lawsuit claims Farr and New used funds for a $5 million volleyball arena as well as using $1.7 million to fund the development of a concussion treatment drug. Farr does not currently face any criminal charges.
