“It’s a good time to own an NFL franchise,” says Cheddar News’ Michelle Castillo as she reports that the Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable team in American football. Not only that, but Dallas’ valuation of $7.6 billion ranks it as the most valuable sports franchise in the world. Trailing the Cowboys in National Football League valuations are the reigning Super Bowl champion Rams, while the Patriots, the Giants and the 49ers round out the top 5.

now let's turn over to sports because it's a good time to own an NFL franchise as the valuation for football teams have jumped once again. So unsurprisingly the Dallas cowboys are once again top of the NFL list with a value of $7.6 billion. That's beyond the NFL though because the cowboys are the most valuable sports franchise in the world. Rounding out the top five are the reigning Super Bowl champion Rams, the Patriots, the Giants and the 40 niners. There are 16 NFL franchises that are at least worth $4 billion. And while there are only seven in the MLB and NBA combined now this is a really surprising thing for me, especially considering that you know America is one of the only places that they play football. I mean you can consider Canada and we've tried the NFL europe games, but I guess the Dallas cowboys are the Dallas cowboys, everyone remembers their championship runs in the nineties. So it doesn't surprise me they are the top valuable sports league in the world. I was thinking someone like who played soccer like Fc Barcelona or something that, but I guess the Dallas cowboys that we're looking at. You know, I was sort of surprised by the cowboys to Michelle, I mean of course they did have their heyday as you mentioned there, but the broncos I know right, the broncos have a new owner based in Denver, I was sort of surprised that they weren't on the list. No surprise though that the Rams, which now we're in Los Angeles were not formally in Los Angeles um At the top of the list as well. So it's pretty amazing. I mean, the money that these franchises in in this league can still bring in. You cover all the time, how much some of these 32nd Super Bowl spots go for. And clearly, even though football as we know it right, is really just an American sport, Americans are willing to pay top dollar.
